Heat Transfer Fluids (Heat Transfer Fluid, HTF / HTM), in other words, Hot Oil, are fluids used to transfer the heat generated in heat transfer systems. Depending on the purpose of use, safe and long-term operation is expected in the desired temperature ranges.
Diphyl® has a high boiling point of 257 ° C at atmospheric pressure, thus allowing pressure-free operation in standard heat transfer systems at temperatures up to 250 ° C. At the maximum application temperature of 400 ° C, the pressure is only 10.7 bar. This means that simple plant designs can be used even in high temperature regions. The facility should be designed so that the temperature at the heating surface is limited to 410 ° C.
Oils serve with their own production Heat transfer oils that show superior performance at different operating temperatures (low, medium, high) for various application areas.
Diphyl is high temperature HTF for application in liquid and vapor phase. It is a high boiling point, low to medium viscosity heat carrier with high thermal stability for heating and cooling in a liquid or vapor phase in an inert gas atmosphere.
